Squash & Racketball in Yorkshire

COVID-19 Statement

Yorkshire Squash and Racketball Association ask that all clubs, venues and facilities follow Government and England Squash guidance in operating their facilities in a safe manner for everyone to use. The Yorkshire Squash League remains suspended until further notice.

With the health and wellbeing of our squash players our main consideration at this point we feel continuing to stage team squash matches is not the right approach. Thanks for your understanding at this difficult time and we look forward to completing the season at a later time and we will update you in due course.

For the latest advice for playing squash and racketball please see England Squash COVID-19 updates.

At the AGM of Yorkshire SRA (see the minutes under About Us on the website), it was agreed that the Yorkshire League results and tables will stand as the final tables for the 2019-20 season, and we congratulate the divisional winners – Abbeydale, Doncaster and Chapel Allerton 4. Trophies will be presented at a Yorkshire event when it is possible to do so

All competitive activity for the 2020-21 season, including the Yorkshire League, County Championships and other events, is in abeyance until further notice. Meanwhile, our Development Officers are focussing on supporting individual venues and coaches to prepare for the full opening of courts for squash and racketball.
